2019 Golden Fox Winner

Leslie Kressin
Circle Center Grade School

In their nomination of Mrs. Kressin, a parent wrote "We take whatever opportunities necessary to scream the praises of our district and moreover the educators that our children have encountered. This is only amplified with Mrs. Kressin. It takes a special teacher to not only instill a love of learning in her class, but also to foster important values like empathy, teamwork, and perseverance.

According to one of her colleagues, “Leslie's energy and devotion to designing thoughtful, engaging learning experiences motivates her students to grow and to independently demonstrate their learning. She is excited, creative, and tireless. On many occasions, Leslie has reached out to peers and coaches evenings and weekends, full of passion about an upcoming project, ready to share and connect. She never stops thinking about how to make her students' experience better.”
