All submissions must be received by Sunday, February 19th.
Staff Awards
Nominations for staff awards are open to current Yorkville 115 staff. Nominees should exhibits behaviors of an everyday hero that inspire staff, students, and others within the district community.
Educator of the Year (Early Childhood through 6th Grade)
Educator of the Year (7th grade through adult education)
Rookie of the Year - awarded to an up and coming educator with five years or less experience.
Non Certified Employee of the Year - includes paraprofessionals, school nurses, counselors, secretaries, district administration staff, janitors, and maintenance staff.
Community Awards
Nominations for the community awards are open to both Yorkville 115 staff and community members.
Spirit of the Fox Award - This award recognizes any person who has shown outstanding dedication and commitment to the Yorkville CUSD 115 Community through participation or support in education, extracurricular activities, or in community events. This may include parents, alumni, teachers, or community members. This person embodies the fox spirit through their enthusiasm and passion for the district community.
Partner of the Year - This award recognizes any District 115 partner that has gone above and beyond in their District partnership. A partner can be either a volunteer organization or a business that has shown commitment and fulfills a need within the Yorkville education community. Examples include: Boosters, District committee/councils, businesses participating in Extended Learning Opportunities, and Parent-Teacher Organizations.
Initiative of the Year - This award goes to an initiative or project that was innovative and produced positive results during the year. Project is open to both district employees and district partners. Examples include: Library Squad, Extended Learning Opportunities, Books for Breakfast program, YISO Club, etc.

When you provide an optional, tax-deductible gift to the Foundation in the name of the teacher, coach, mentor, or other special person of your choice, YEF will let the honoree know that you have made a donation in their honor.
