Yorkville 115 teachers & staff are its' greatest asset.

In support of District 115’s wellness initiative, Yorkville Educational Foundation is excited to support all staff through a one time gift for a staff morale fund. The Foundation is providing up to 10 grants that range from $250-$750 each ($5,000 total) based on the size of the school staff. While we know that we cannot solve the pandemic problems teachers & staff have experienced throughout the country, we can provide an opportunity to boost spirits and fund something extra this year.

Recognizing that each of our school communities have different needs, we're asking school staff come together and propose innovative ways to build community, in person, virtually or through programming. Staff morale grants are intended to complement the efforts at the district level, not fully fund or replace their efforts.

Rules & Request

  • Preference will be given to school-wide proposals, focusing on the greatest number of staff impacted. Teachers, staff and district administrators may also apply on behalf of a wellness/sunshine committee, cohort (i.e. specials, dual language, SPED team), or other group.

  • One grant will be approved per school.

    • $250 grants are available for: Bristol Grade School, Yorkville Grade School (and groups of 40 or fewer)

    • $500 grants are available for: Autumn Creek Elementary School, Bristol Bay Elementary School, Circle Center Grade School, Grande Reserve Elementary School and Yorkville Intermediate School (and groups of 41-100)

    • $750 grants are available for: Yorkville Middle School and Yorkville High School (and groups of 101 or more staff)

  • A maximum of 10 proposals will be funded.

  • Funding cannot be used toward the purchase of alcohol, drugs, or other activities that result in liability issues.

  • Funding cannot be requested for activities that have already happened in the past.

  • YEF can arrange either for a reimbursement based on receipts or can pay for the activity or item directly.

  • YEF will be sharing the staff morale grants on social media, website and other sources.
