September 27th Blood Drive

Yorkville Educational Foundation, in partnership with Bristol Bay PTO will host a community blood drive with Heartland Blood Centers on September 27 from 3pm to 7:30pm at the Yorkville High School Library, 797 Game Farm Road, Doors 27-28. Sign up now!

With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, donors are always needed within the local Yorkville community. A single blood donation can save up to three lives. There’s no better feeling than knowing that your blood donation may give someone a second chance at life.

According to Heartland Blood Center, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative and B positive. Donors age 17 and older who sign up will receive a coupon for a free sundae at Grandma Rosie’s, a free shirt, and a pass to Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm Pumpkin Fest. Donors who are 16 years old can sign up with parental consent form.
